Welcome to Monroe AYSO
by maz posted 09/28/2008

Welcome to Monroe AYSO
Monroe AYSO is the largest youth program in Monroe. Every weekend during the Spring and Fall, over 1,000 children are playing Monroe AYSO soccer.
AYSO was founded over 40 years ago. Today over 750,000 children play AYSO soccer. We are a non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO's five philosophies. These philosophies are: everyone plays, balanced teams, open registration, positive coaching, and good sportsmanship.
We are an organization that is staffed by volunteers. We believe in our children and support the town of Monroe with various contributions. If you would like to volunteer, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Scott Weiss

Player Field Drop Off and Pick Up Procedure
by Scott Weiss posted 05/16/2011

Parents

Please do not drop off your child at any field without first finding your coach. This is very important. Parents are just dropping off their children at a parking lot and having their child go to a field unattended. This is especially important at Great Hollow Lake. Parents are just leaving their child at the bottom of the walkway and having their child run up the hill. If a practice or game has be cancelled, and the parent has not received the message, we will have a child on a field without any supervision.

In addition, too many players are telling their coaches that their ride will pick them up at the bottom of the hill or in one of the parks or school parking lots. The coaches can not release the player from practice or a game until they verify the players parent/ride are at the field.

We want to make sure that all of our players are safe. Please help by following the procedures outlined above.
